Intermediate Exam which is also called Higher Secondary Examination (also known as HSC) is a centralized examination for class 11 and class 12 students in Bangladesh, India and Nepal. Every year the exams are conducted during March/April. And the results will be declared during mid-April to May.

In Andhra Pradesh, BIEAP conducts the Intermediate exams. It was established in 1971. It is located in Nampally, Hyderabad. The Ethics and Human Values Examination held on Jan 28th for first year students and Environmental Education Examination held on Jan 31st. The Ethics paper was added in the Inter 1st year curriculum in Andhra Pradesh from 2014. Students has to attempt this exam and clear the exam.

The results will be declared mid of April. The Inter 1st year results will be announced District wise or Name wise or College wise. The Toppers list also will be announced on the day of releasing the results officially on the website. The Toppers list will be released group wise i.e., M.P.C, Bi.P.C, C.E.C, H.E.C, M.E.C. In the year AP Intermediate Time Table 2018, Vizag students topped in the Inter 1st year exams. The 1t year pass percentage was 68.05%. The Educational Minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said, 4,67,747 students appeared for the exam and out of them 3,18,300 students passed the Inter 1st year examinations.

The pass percentage marks are 35 marks in each subject. During 2016, the number of girls passed in the Inter 1st year exams are 1,68,353 and the number of boys passed in Inter 1st year exams are 1,49,947.

Once the results are announced, if the candidates are not happy with the result, they can apply for recounting and revaluation process for each subject in the official website of Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education. The website address is bieap.gov.in. The recounting and revaluation of Inter 1st year exams dates will be displayed after the results are announced. Students can visit bieap website and apply for the recounting and revaluation process for whichever the subject they want to check. The recounting or revaluation process takes few days and the revaluation results will be released again.

Grades details:

More than 75 percent – A grade

Between 60 and 75 percent – B grade

Between 50 and 60 percent – C grade

Between 35 and 50 percent – D grade

AP Intermediate Time Table 2018 , After Inter 1st year exams, students will be entering Inter 2nd year.

The intermediate course is called as Pre-Intermediate course, referred to as Junior College. This course was introduced in the year of 1969-70 and the board was formed during 1971. The functions of the board are:
